Ok, as I promised, here is the information I shared in class. This is the website to visit to see the animals. Do you know what a Myotis is? http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/news/Other-Services/Threatened-and-Endangered-Species/Threatened-and-Endangered-Species/Species-Images . Also, if you click here, this is the list I had on your desks.

Wow!!!  New school, new teachers, new kids, how am I going to handle all of this?!!!  It’s science!!  of course!!!  Mrs. Brooks and I are geared up and ready for you to join the science team and help us find some cool new websites that deal with our topics.  The first unit is on weather, so if you know of any cool stuff that deals with weather, write it underneath this post and we will check it out.  If it’s cool enough, we just might put it on the website!  Check out the links on the side of this page.  My favorite is the geocaching link.  What do you think.

Are you ready?!?!

It’s almost time for school to start back up, are you ready?  Summer feels like it’s getting shorter and shorter, doesn’t it?  Mrs. Brooks and I can’t wait to finally meet you guys at open house.  We have alot in store for you, and hopefully, by the time school is in gear, you will be telling everyone about the awesome science teachers at Challenger and Discovery!  See you soon!
